Senior Application Engineer (m/w/d)

The opportunity:

·        Join a .Net development team within the Consumer segment predominately focused on business-critical applications within the customer & supplier supply chain arena. 

·        The primary responsibility of this role will be to develop and deliver of new solutions (green field development) or augmentations of existing platforms according to the business requirements.

·        Provide 1st/2nd line support for the applications developed by the team.

·        Proactively monitor, review, and follow up on outstanding tickets to ensure they are responded to promptly and inline with the contracted service level agreements.

 

How you will impact WestRock:

·        Deliver high quality, easy maintainable code by following the software development principles, design patterns, code review and unit testing.

·        Collaborate with Product Management, UI/UX, DevOps, SecOps and QA team members on subjects from design to deployment.

·        Develop an understanding of the business so you can generate ideas and design better solutions.

·        Automate your work by implementing Azure DevOps CI/CD.

·        Follow Agile framework, deliver software incrementally.

·        Produce technical documentation.

·        Liaise with the WestRock IT functions for problem resolution.

·        Actively take part in improving your work environment (software development process, tools etc.).

·        Develop your skills by attending trainings and trying new things in real life projects.

 

What you need to succeed:

·        At least 5 year experience as a full stack .NET developer.

·        Very good knowledge of ASP. NET MVC, ASP .NET Web API, HTML5 / CSS / Java Script, .NET/C#, Visual Studio.

·        Very good knowledge programming of relational databases: MSSQL, T-SQL, Entity Framework, SSIS, SSRS.

·        Very good knowledge of Git.

·        Experience in Unit Testing.

·        You follow SOLID principles.

·        You can write technical specification.

·        You worked in Agile frameworks.

·        Very good knowledge of Polish and good command of English (min. B2).

·        You are willing to develop your career.

·        It would be beneficial if you are familiar with: jQuery, Bootstrap, Blazor/React/Angular, CI/CD/Azure DevOps Pipelines, Design patterns: DDD, TDD, Integration testing.
