For our team in Germany we are looking for a:

DACH Junior Business Development Manager Healthcare & Pharmaceutical market (m/f/d)

 

The opportunity:

This role will be the perfect match for anyone who is interested to further develop existing Sales skills and therefore continue a professional career in Sales - but even without any prior Sales experience a lateral entry could be possible and work out very well.

The Junior Business Development Manager will be responsible for the acquisition, development and optimization of new and existing customers as well as sales and product volumes, margins and growth opportunities through a professional and proactive relationship with the regionally assigned customer portfolio.

Working in a team of regional & international Sales colleagues, customer relations will be built and developed in line with agreed business strategies and plans.

 

How you will impact WestRock:

·        Develop existing and new client relationships in the healthcare market to increase sales volume and maximize profitability in selected target market sectors through a proactive sales / service relationship

·        Conduct regular customer visits including customer presentations to understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions

·        Collaborate with operational and technical teams to implement customer solutions, generate and commercialize new ideas related to products and processes to generate profitable revenues

·        Ensure that clients work in accordance with agreed contract terms, including with commercial teams, to appropriately implement contract terms as well as support the commercial relationship

·        Provide accurate short, medium and long-term forecasts as required to support business planning activities

·        Maintain a thorough knowledge of the market sector to better influence clients on the benefits of the existing relationship

·        Actively take part in industry events, trade shows and conferences to identify potential customers and strengthen relationships with existing customers

 

What you need to succeed:

·        Bachelor's degree / Dipl.-Ing. (FH) or equivalent graduation or demonstrable qualifications and experience

·        Experience work-related production/manufacturing/sales

·        Strong communication and presentation skills

·        Ability to make initial contacts and to build relationships

·        Product and market knowledge of printing & packaging healthcare or healthcare related environment is preferred

·        Willingness to travel & flexibility in working hours

·        Excellent knowledge of German and good English
