DACH Key Account & Business Development Manager Healthcare & Pharmaceutical Packaging Industry

How you will impact on WestRock:

·        Support and develop key accounts in the DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) market to build long-term relationships based on partnership & to ensure high level of customer satisfaction.

·        Conduct regular customer visits including customer presentations to understand key account needs and provide tailored solutions.

·        Develop and implement sales strategies in the DACH healthcare & pharmaceutical region to increase market share and revenue growth.

·        Monitor market and competitive trends to make strategic recommendations to optimize business strategy.

·        Identify cross-selling opportunities and upselling potential for existing customers.

·        Participate in internal / external trainings to deepen understanding of the products and strengthen customer relationships.

·        Maintain a high level of service quality and provide professional advice on technical issues or problems.

·        Actively take part in industry events, trade shows and conferences to identify potential customers and strengthen relationships with existing customers.

·        Take ownership of the entire sales process, from initial contact through negotiations and contract close.

 

What do you need to success?

·        Completed education in a commercial or technical field (e.g. business administration, engineering, packaging technology) or equivalent qualification.

·        Knowledge of the packaging market is a plus but not a must-have.

·        At least 5 years of experience in a similar sales or business development position.

·        Proven track record of customer acquisition and building long-term customer relationships.

·        Experience in developing and implementing sales strategies, with a focus on the DACH market.

·        Strong customer focus, willingness to provide exceptional service and solution-oriented approach to understanding customer needs and providing effective solutions.

·        Excellent negotiation and communication skills at various hierarchical levels, both written and verbal.

·        Self-motivated, goal-oriented and ability to work in a dynamic and challenging environment.

·        Strong entrepreneurial thinking and ability to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.

·        Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders following a loyal and flexible working style.

·        Decision-Making power and demonstrating the ability to balance competing priorities.

·        Advanced presentation skills and ability to clearly communicate complex technical information.

·        Proficiency in written and spoken English and German, other languages are an asset.
